  yous will have to become in ALL Postal service and and so option/search/filter to select and DELETE emails you want NO Longer want else they will lay and eat space in your archive folder. yep, that's what you will have to do on some long weekend 😐
  
  BTW on the mobile Gmail App, you can change the default action from "Archive" to something else like "Delete".
My archived isn't showing up in all mail service either!

1. That is correct, if you archive, it goes to your All Mails labels, I don't know why you aren't seeing them at that place, non sure if you have whatsoever rule to delete them, check with Google support.
