Let me get-go past pointing out that archiving is configured by default for swiping left or right in the Android app. There is no prompt asking if that's what you actually want to do. Information technology simply does it by default… And there's literally no fashion to observe those archived emails once more. Unless, that is, you're Rain Man and have a solid photographic memory of every email that's EVER come into your inbox and can place the messages you lot accidently swiped on. Again, this isn't a convenient user-friendly characteristic meant to raise the user experience.
I've been using Gmail for more a decade. I literally have thousands upon thousands of emails. Why is at that place non an easier method of viewing ONLY the archived letters? Clicking on "All Mail" shows everything. How is that helpful in my example? This does not help at all. If you want to delete all the emails that had been archived, this does not provide you with "archived" label or folder or tag so that you tin can delete all such emails.
I have been archiving instead of deleting by mistake because of some crazy default setting and now take to go re-select what I want to delete? Please, tell me I'm wrong.

yous will have to become in ALL Postal service and and so option/search/filter to select and DELETE emails you want NO Longer want else they will lay and eat space in your archive folder. yep, that's what you will have to do on some long weekend 😐
BTW on the mobile Gmail App, you can change the default action from "Archive" to something else like "Delete".
My archived isn't showing up in all mail service either!

That is correct, if you archive, it goes to your All Mails labels, I don't know why you aren't seeing them at that place, non sure if you have whatsoever rule to delete them, check with Google support.
